Valentina Guagliardi was born in Novi Ligure in 1987. She combined a technical education with an artistic one, beginning her career in set design and the visual arts. She undertook studies in architecture and graduated under the supervision of Professor Franz Prati.
She continued her professional career in Paris, where she worked as an architect and independent researcher, whilst at the same time nurturing her interest in set design and attending courses in this field.
She returned to Genoa in 2018, where she decided to settle and open a small atelier studio.
The studio was conceived as a genuine research space that operates on various scales and focuses on architecture and the visual arts. Research lies at the heart of every project, through an interdisciplinary fusion of languages and perspectives. A laboratory for architecture, documentary photography and territorial research.
